Privacy policy

Split Grip LLC operates splitgrip.com and its shopping and support services. This policy describes how we handle personal information when you browse, order, or contact us. Effective date: October 19, 2026.

Information we handle When you order through Shopify, information can include your name, email, phone number, billing/shipping address, purchased products, order history, payment status and transaction details. Shopify and the selected payment provider process payment credentials; the storefront's checkout handler does not collect or store card numbers.

When you contact us, we receive the name, email address, message and optional order number you provide. If you request warranty support, we may receive your order/bat details, serial number, photos and the information needed to review your request. Do not send payment-card details in a message.

Our hosting and commerce providers receive technical information such as IP address, browser/device details, request logs and security events. The redesigned storefront uses browser storage to remember your shopping cart. Blocking or clearing that storage can remove saved selections. This website does not currently use separate advertising or analytics tags; Shopify checkout and existing store services have their own privacy/consent controls.

How we use and share information We use information to process payments and orders, arrange fulfillment/delivery, provide support, handle returns and warranty requests, communicate about transactions, prevent fraud, secure the services, keep business records and meet legal obligations. If you receive marketing messages, you can use their unsubscribe control; transaction and support messages may still be needed.

We use service providers for these purposes, including Shopify for commerce/payment checkout, Vercel for website hosting, Resend for website-contact email when activated, email services, shipping/fulfillment providers and relevant operational services. Providers may process information in countries different from your own. We share the information needed for the relevant service, or when required by law, to protect lawful rights, or in a business transfer subject to applicable protections. Third-party sites, payment providers and the separate custom builder may describe additional processing in their own notices.

Shopify also processes information under its own policies and the store's Shopify privacy settings. We will update our disclosures and provide applicable consent choices before adding optional advertising or analytics services to this website.

Retention, security and choices We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain required business/tax records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. We use access controls and service-provider security measures; no system can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, or an opt-out of certain processing. Send requests to trevor@splitgrip.com. We may verify your identity before acting and will respond under applicable requirements. You can also manage available privacy/consent choices in Shopify checkout and through Shopify's privacy portal.

Purchases and support requests should be made by an adult or an authorized parent/guardian. If you believe a child supplied personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us. Links to third-party websites are governed by those services' own notices.

We may update this policy as our practices change. We will publish the updated date and provide additional notice where required.
